Women only need a trusted guide to help decipher symptoms and remind them that they hold the wisdom to unlock their own complete inner wellness. When women commit to their own wellbeing, the improvement in their health inevitably leads to a ripple effect encompassing themselves, their family, their purpose, and their community and world.
I was living my dream, caring for women, but as a full time OB GYN and mom of 2 small children, I suddenly hit a breaking point while experiencing burnout.
After extensive research and exploration, I found integrative and functional medicine and the personalized options available to diagnose and treat the root cause of my symptoms. I began to notice amazing changes taking place in my own health- mind, body and spirit, as I practiced these methods myself. I knew I had to learn more for myself, my family and my patients.
I enrolled in an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona and there discovered my calling to integrative and functional medicine.
The rest of my journey has resolidified my passion to empower women to heal, support their hormonal health, and rediscover what their true self needs. By using the tools of integrative and functional medicine, I guide women to support their healthiest self, where they live into their values, support their hormonal health (whatever the season), and thrive.
